Russell Koenig, PS, EI, and Ron Howard, EI, will present a session on quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) of underground GIS data collection at the 2008 Ohio GIS Conference in Columbus. The presentation will discuss the many challenges of collecting GIS pipe data and strategies to ensure proper and accurate data collection.

Lisa Swain To Speak On Web Based GIS Technologies At The Ohio GIS Conference read more
Lisa Swain, PE, will present a session on Simplified Asset Management Using Modern Web-based GIS Technology at the Ohio GIS Conference. During her presentation, Ms. Swain will illustrate the appropriateness of using GoogleEarth and applications similar to Google Maps for asset management.
Ms. Swain is a Civil Engineer and Project Manager with DLZ. She is the former GIS Manager for the City of Columbus and has served as OGRIP (Ohio Geographically Referenced Information Program)
Research Forum Chair and on the OGRIP Council.
